828 - Passo del Sommo - Ortesino
<p>The beauty of the forest. The silence of nature. The ancient signs of a rural world made of cows grazing, freshly milked milk, fresh and tasty cheese. The flavors and fragrances of the Alp!</p>
<p>From Passo Sommo, take a comfortable dirt road that leads from the pass through the greens of the golf course and leads to the Stella d'Italia refuge through stretches of woods and pastures: be careful, you might encounter deer! After passing the ruins of a World War I barracks (we are also on the way to Forte Sommo Alto), push on the MTB, go over the ridge and descend into a wide forest basin. We are now in the area of an ancient alpine station, the Malga Ortesino, a mountain restaurant (the flavors of Trentino!) that welcomes us with its specialties! Try it to believe it! Nearby is the so-called "Stallone", a large stable covered with stone slabs. It is worth visiting. Who knows how many sonorous moos under the large vaulted gallery!</p>
