The Dolomites and Sellaronda Tour, fantastic hiking and skiing in the Sella Pass area

Located on a grassy saddle that separates the Sassolungo from the Sella Group, Sella Pass links Val di Fassa to Val Gardena along 12 km main road no. 242, connecting the mountain pass to Canazei. One of the most famous passes of the Dolomites, it is overlooked by the majestic Sella Towers and by the Mesules barrier. Unforgettable is the view over the Sassolungo group, at an altitude of 3,181 metres.
The Sella Pass area in winter is ideal for fantastic skiing of every level and difficulty, on the ski-runs featured by Col Rodella, Belvedere or ski tour Sellaronda. High-rising, massive, fringed with crags and little flat on top, the Sella Pass is one of the most popular destinations among ski-mountaineering lovers, along with the climb to Piz Boè at 3,152 metres of altitude, where the view takes in the peaks that have marked the history of international ski-mountaineering.
Thanks to its great variety of accommodation facilities, ranging from Alpine-style hotels to mountain-huts, Sella Pass is a holiday destination for those seeking a sporty holiday in contact with nature.
