The typical ancient village of Val Rendena, Vigo (from the Latin "vicus" - village), features a community especially proud of its origins.
The village is located in the lower part of the valley, in a natural landscape of unique beauty, the Adamello Brenta Nature Park. Vigo Rendena is easliy accessible from the Pinzolo ski area and from the magnificent ski circuit of Madonna di Campiglio Folgarida-Marilleva.
According to antique regulations (1384), Vigo and Darè are the only communities in the Trento province to share church and cemetery, even though each one is self-governed and has its own mayor and municipal council.
