There are 17 latest-generation uphill facilities, and skiers are whisked up to the Falcade runs - with their skis on - by the Col Margherita cableway (two 100-place cabins designed by Pininfarina, from 1,918 to 2,513 metres).
Only the most experienced can try their hand on the two technical ski slopes with their breath-taking walls that reach the Pass. If you cannot resist the lure of fresh snow, you can always opt for the Freeride Park.
The Sanpe Snowpark boasts both easy jumps for beginners and more demanding facilities for the most skilled. There are also several rails and a kink-box made entirely of steel.
The ski-runs network is set against the scenic backdrop of some of the most evocative landscapes of the Dolomites, with views taking in its most famous peaks: Marmolada, Cime d'Asta, Civetta and Pelmo, the Pale di San Martino Group. It is an ideal destination for families with kids, thanks to its ski-camps and alternative activities, such as tobogganing, bobsledding and baby-clubs.
Don't want to stay on the slopes? No problem. Why not enjoy cross-country skiing at the Alochet Centre, ski mountaineering (tour Passo Selle-Val Monzoni and Passo Cirelle-Val Contrin), evening snowshoeing at Baita Paradiso or a ride in a horse-drawn carriage to Fuciade?
The mountain pass, which is easily reachable by car or ski bus from Moena, is a favourite destination of non-skiing tourists. Hotels with wellness centres open to the public, mountain huts and ski-bars are available to spend fantastic days enjoying the snow and basking in the sun.
