Cross-country skiing is a sport that has strong and ancient roots in Val di Sole. One of the many towns where skiers can practice this sport is Commezzadura with its 8 km of tracks prepared for free technique that place skiers in close contact with nature when natural snowfalls allow it.
The cross-country ski runs have night lighting.
The Dolomiti Express train stops at the Daolasa-Commezzadura ski lift station that connects the valley with the new Folgarida-Marilleva-Madonna di Campiglio ski carousel.
