Val di Fiemme

Val di Fiemme is enclosed in a unique natural scenery that counts, between its crown’s jewels, the Unesco Latemar peaks.

The Fiemme-Obereggen skipass gives access to the Ski Center Latemar, a natural paradise for all winter sports, with 48 km of slopes connecting Pampeago, Predazzo and Obereggen, framed by the striking limestone range of the Latemar. In the Bellamonte-Alpe Lusia ski area, the ski runs spill over the border of Parco Naturale di Paneveggio- Pale di S.Martino, a protected natural reserve that afforded the area the Unesco Heritage Site status. The Passo Rolle ski area boasts an equally stunning scenery shadowed by the majestic Pale di San Martino, while the Alpe Cermis resort, with its 7.5km long Olimpia run, claims one of the most captivating panoramas across the Dolomites. More incredible sceneries of this stunning mountain range, are revealed on Altipiano di Lavazé-Oclini, where alpine skiing blends with Nordic skiing.

Nigh time skiing is very popular across the whole valley. You can ski 4 evenings a week on the Olimpia 3 run, on Alpe Cermis (from 19:00 to 22:00 Wednesday and Friday) and on the Obereggen run at the Ski Center Latemar (from 19:00 to 22:00 Tuesday, Thursday and Friday). In Obereggen, both the 2.5km sledging track and the snowpark are lit up at night three times a week.

The skipass grants free access to the public swimming pool in Predazzo, the ice rink in Cavalese, the outdoor ice rink in Tesero and to night-time skiing & sledging in Obereggen.

Val di Fiemme is also home to Nordic skiing. The ski area, with its high-quality centres and extensive trail network, hosted three times the prestigious Nordic Skiing World Championship. Particularly outstanding are the centres of Altipiano di Lavazè and Lake Tesero with the Marcialonga track and the Bellamonte loops that combined offer 150 km of skiing terrain.

After a full day of activities, you can relax with an aperitif on the slopes and, why not, carry on into the night with a traditional dinner in chalet or reach a mountain hut at high altitude.

Two new panoramic attractions: the New Chalet 44 Dolomites Lounge on the slopes of the Bellamonte-Alpe Lusia ski area, in the Morea area. The restaurant boasts a wide and sunny terrace overlooking the Pale di San Martino Dolomites and the Lagorai mountain range.

In the Alpe Cermis area, the new Busabella red piste along with a new mountain hut in the Forcella di Bombasel locality at an elevation of 2,170 metres. Both Trentino and “Italian style” cuisine are available, and fish dishes too, along with a generous choice of fine wines and aperitifs.

The new 400-metre toboggan run next to the Latemar Ski Centre in Pampeago will guarantee plenty of fun for all, children and adults alike. Furthermore, the Chalet Caserina, located nearby, has been given a stylish makeover and been refurbished throughout. A gourmet menu is also available.
