Val di Sole
Excursions into the wild and rafting during summer; over 150km of ski slopes in winter
- Hiking in the Stelvio Park
- Rafting along the river Noce
- A ride on the cycle path
Water is the main character of all valleys: the Noce, deemed by National Geographic as one of the top ten rivers in the world for rafting, is host to international canoeing competitions, rafting and kayaking. Adrenaline pumping and exciting, rafting is perfect for all; try it in one of the many centres in the valley.
What’s more, Val di Sole is also where the mountain bike world champion ships take place, meaning there is a plethora of various tracks for enthusiasts to try; these include the Val di Sole cycling track which stretches along the Noce, following ancient and rustic roads. The Adamello Group and Brenta Group of mountains, with plenty of Alpine lakes and glaciers, offer an endless supply of excursions and crossings for everyone, beginners and experienced alike.
Val di Sole has two spas, in Rabbi and in Pejo. The spa in Pejo is open even during the winter season.
Val di Sole offers everything ski-lovers could want. Thanks to the link between Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo, the Folgarida-Marillevaski area forms an immense area of slopes that span over 150km. The Presena glacier and passo Tonale, along with the town of Ponte di Legno, make up another network of 100km of ski slopes. Located within the Stelvio National Park, Pejo is perfect for family skiing, as well asfor ski mountaineering in close contact with nature.
