“Dio è donna e si chiama Petrynia”

On Friday, March 6 at 8:30 PM in Sala Frasnelli there will be a screening of the film “God is a Woman and Her Name is Petrynia” directed by Teona Strugar Mitevska.
The film recounts a true news event that happened in North Macedonia, providing the audience an opportunity to reflect on the roles that a certain society defines for men and women and on the urgent need to challenge them. This film received the Lux Prize 2019 from the European Parliament, for its merit in promoting the knowledge of Eastern European cultures and for revisiting them with an increased awareness of the real role of women in humanity.
