Medea donna, straniera, diversa
Theatrical show. Adaptation from the works of Euripides Apollonius of Rhodes Ovid Seneca Pasolini with students from the G. Prati High School of Trento.
To remember the strength of Medea, the students of Liceo Prati, directed by Jacopo Laurino and Elena Galvani, bring to the stage the show “MEDEA. Woman, stranger, different”: the story of a woman who leaves her homeland, betrays her family, and renounces her identity to follow the man she loves, only to be betrayed, abandoned, and stripped of everything. The tale of Medea, one of the most important figures in Greek literature, is undoubtedly contemporary: a woman who claims her self-determination and rejects submission to the men in her life, despite their attempts to dominate her.
Show organized by the cultural association Europavisio, in collaboration with La Voce delle donne ODV and ASSFRON (Schools without borders).
