Exhibition "STRONG LANDSCAPES" at the Municipality of Lavarone
Exhibition dedicated to the fortifications in Trentino.
A summary of the activities: "Strong Landscapes" is a research and exhibition project launched in 2019, aimed at creating a modern territorial image of the Austro-Hungarian forts from the First World War in Trentino, through alternative narratives and an ecosystemic vision. The research, led by architect Marco Ferrari, resulted in three exhibitions in the summer and autumn of 2022 at Forte di Cadine, Spazio Klien in Borgo Valsugana, and the Gallerie di Piedicastello. For his research, architect Ferrari also utilized materials preserved in the archives of the Museum of War, particularly the documents of the Austrian Military Engineering relating to the history of imperial fortifications in Trentino (maps and plans), supported by archive manager Nicola Fontana.
