Exhibition "STRONG LANDSCAPES" at Forte Belvedere
Exhibition dedicated to the fortresses of Trentino.
A summary of the activities: "Strong Landscapes" is a research and exhibition project launched in 2019, aimed at creating a modern territorial image of the Austro-Hungarian fortifications from World War I in Trentino, through alternative narratives and an ecosystemic vision. The research, led by architect Marco Ferrari, resulted in three exhibitions in the summer and autumn of 2022 at Forte di Cadine, Spazio Klien in Borgo Valsugana, and the Gallerie di Piedicastello. For his research, architect Ferrari also utilized materials preserved in the archives of the War Museum, particularly the documents of the Austrian Military Engineering concerning the history of the imperial fortifications in Trentino (maps and plans), supported by the archive manager Nicola Fontana.
