Ten all-female coreographies
A contemporary dance exhibition by Abbondanza/Bertoni in “Teatro alla Cartiera”, in Rovereto, plus an extraordinary event in the backyard of the “Sant’Osvaldo” church.
The historic Abbondanza/Bertoni dance company will, for the first time, be the artistic director of a contemporary dance festival. 10 coreographies by 10 women coreographers: Claudia Catarzi, Alessandra Cristiani, Valentina Dal Mas, Francesca Foscarini, Teodora Grano, Giorgia Lolli, Francesca Pennini, G. Re, Stefania Tansini e Antonella Bertoni.
The Abbondanza/Bertoni company, hailed as one of the most prolific artistic realities of the italian scene, due to its artistic creations, to its educational and pedagogical activity and for the dissemination of contemporary dance theatre, marks a further step in their exceptional artistic journey. A novelty that fits perfectly into the career of two artists who have always entrusted dance with the courage to take a position maintaining it or change it suddenly.
The dance exhibition includes meetings at the “Teatro alla Cartiera” in Rovereto in March (Saturday 8, 15 and 22), April (Thursday 3, Saturday 5 and Tuesday 8) and May (Saturday 17 and 24) and is curated by the Abbondanza/Bertoni dance company, under the artistic direction of Antonella Bertoni, with the support of MiC – Ministry of Culture, the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Municipality of Rovereto, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio Trento e Rovereto, the Autonomous Region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, the Vallagarina Community and with the contribution of Cassa Rurale Vallagarina BCC.
