On Monday 8 December, at 8.30 pm, the Corpo Musicale Città di Trento, in collaboration with the Centro Servizi Culturali Santa Chiara, invites the public to the Teatro Sociale di Trento for the event "8 December 1800. The dawn of a band", an evening of music and storytelling to celebrate the 225-year history of the Corpo Musicale Città di Trento, which will be cut in 2026. The Corpo Musicale Città di Trento boasts the longest history among Trentino bands, having been founded in 1801.
On December 8, more than two centuries ago, the foundations of what would become the Corpo Musicale Città di Trento were laid. Today, on the eve of its 225th anniversary, the Corpo Musicale Città di Trento, directed by Maestro Fabrizio Zanon, presents an evening that will accompany the public on a musical and narrative journey that will retrace the most significant stages of its history. The live musical narrative will be marked by the narrating voice of the Trentino artist and actor Andrea Castelli.
