The Italian War History Museum
The rooms of the castle of Rovereto hold numerous documents and materials that tell of centuries of battles and wars, from the modern era to the First World War, to the present day.
This has been a reference point for history enthusiasts since 1921, especially thanks to the main section dedicated to the Great War: the collection includes uniforms, weapons and armour, as well as an authentic Nieuport-Macchi Ni.10 biplane. In the towers, you can see a collection of weapons from the early modern period (from the 16th to the 18th century), including armour, cold weapons, firearms, duelling weapons and hunting weapons. Interesting temporary exhibitions are held in the museum and in summer you can also visit the recently renovated "Artillery of the Great War 1914-1918" section.
