The Val Meledrio Eco-museum is an outdoor exhibition of the valley’s historic and cultural experiences. The road that runs beside the river of the same name leads to the Venetian sawmill. From here, visitors can follow the turpentine trail and then continue towards the “fosinace” or forge area where they used to work iron. Continuing, they will come to the “calcara”, the ancient furnace used to bake and produce lime. Further on is the Doss di Santa Brigida, where remains of the Hospice of the same name were found.
