Nembia Nature Reserve
The little Nembia Lake is located one kilometre south of Lake Molveno, at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites in Western Trentino.
The Nembia Nature Reserve is situated between San Lorenzo in Banale and Molveno. The little lake is just 400 m long, 120 m wide, just a few metres deep, and is surrounded by an educational walk along which 14 information panels have been installed illustrating the natural heritage of the area. The circular walk is just under 3 km in length, practically flat and takes about one and a half hours to cover at a relaxed pace (excluding stops).
The Nembia Nature Reserve is located in the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park. It is home to a wide variety of alpine fauna such as squirrels, foxes, deer and roe deer, and birds such as crag martin, the common raven and the rare wallcreeper.
