Cimbrian Path of the Imaginary - Nå in tritt von Sambinélo

<p>Beautiful and exciting thematic route, among the most beautiful in Trentino, a pleasant journey to discover the stories and legends of the Cimbrian culture. Wooden sculptures and illustrative panels placed along the route tell the characters who populate the local tradition among natural corners, woods, pastures and views of the Astico Valley.</p>

<p>The Path of the Imaginary is a beautiful route through the woods and pastures of Luserna, inspired by legends and characters of the Cimbrian popular imagination such as Frau Pertega and Tüsele Marüsele. A loop of about 7 km, to be comfortably covered in a couple of hours, with a slight elevation difference.</p> <p>Characteristic are the wooden works by local artists and the legends scattered along the route, which allow discovering the characters that fantasy and popular tradition have handed down over the centuries.</p> <p>Beautiful is the stretch in the woods with the basilisk-dragon, leading to the alpine pond with the bear sculpture, up to Malga Campo where you can stop and taste simple and genuine dishes. From here you set off crossing a stretch of flowered fields and at the edge of the woods you find the panel explaining the legend of Sambinelo, a goblin dressed in red who appeared to a woman, causing her to wander for an entire day until lost… the spirits of the woods often recur in local tales (and not only): symbols of a past time, they can help or not the inhabitants, but it is always good practice to keep them pleased and grant them what they ask for, so as not to deal with their pranks.</p>
