Felice Spellini Via Ferrata, Dolomiti di Brenta
Fixed rope route
Felice Spellini Via Ferrata, Dolomiti di Brenta

Little frequented via ferrata, very demanding, along exposed and overhanging ladders under Cima degli Armi. Quick return to Rifugio Pedrotti and Alimonta coming from the Bocchette Centrali.

The Spellini via ferrata develops along the south spur of Cima degli Armi along vertical and overhanging ladders requiring good arm strength and absence of vertigo.

400 m of metal cable and four tough ladders connect the Valle dei Massodi (Molveno side) with the Vedretta degli Armi (Madonna di Campiglio side) and then Rifugio Pedrotti and Alimonta allowing a quick return to the two huts for those coming from Bocchette Centrali.

The snowfield of Vedretta degli Armi, although not very difficult, may require the use of ice axe and crampons.

The access trail starts from the Osvaldo Orsi Trail, near the silent and wild Busa degli Sfulmini from where it is possible to admire Campanile Basso and Cima Brenta Alta in all their splendor.
