<p>A pleasant circular walk from Sega di Ala passing through Passo delle Fittanze, with views of the centuries-old beech trees.</p>
<p>The Lessinia plateau has long hosted state borders between different kingdoms, a fact that, as in all mountain territories, saw generations of smugglers active. The Strada dei Ladri, which is part of this itinerary, recalls those ancient activities.</p> <p>Near Malga Maia, continuing for a few hundred meters, you can spot a stand of centuries-old beech trees, including the renowned monumental tree <a href="https://www.outdooractive.com/r/802502466/" data-type="poi" data-id="802502466" class="oax_internallink">Beech of the Queen</a>.</p>
