A pleasant circular walk from Sega di Ala via Passo delle Fittanze, with a view of ancient beech trees
The Lessinia plateau has long hosted the state borders between different kingdoms, a fact that, as in all mountain territories, has seen generations of smugglers in business. The "Strada dei Ladri", which is part of this itinerary, evokes those ancient activities. <p>In the vicinity of Malga Maia, continuing for a few hundred metres, you can see a scrub of centuries-old beech trees, including the renowned monumental <a href="https://www.outdooractive.com/r/802502466/">Faggio della Regina</a> tree.</p>
