Mezzocorona - Monte (SAT 500)
Through coniferous woods and paths among rocks, the Mezzocorona – Monte route (SAT 500) takes you from the village of Mezzocorona up to the summit of Monte di Mezzocorona, at 891 meters, where the panorama embraces the Rotaliana Königsberg and the surrounding mountains.
This trail, with an elevation gain of 672 meters over a distance of 2.9 km, offers a hike of about 1 hour and 45 minutes. It is ideal for expert hikers (EE) and skyrunning enthusiasts, thanks to its constant slope and breathtaking panorama that opens onto the Rotaliana Königsberg and the surrounding mountains. <p>Along the path, you will cross coniferous forests and enjoy panoramic views accompanying you to the summit, where you can admire a spectacular view of the valley below. The trail is passable all year round, although it is advisable to avoid the hottest hours during summer.</p> <p>For those preferring a gentler ascent, the cable car can be used, making the hike also suitable for those who desire a more relaxing walk.</p> <p>Once at the top, you can enjoy the mountain in all its beauty, with restaurants where you can taste typical dishes, and unique points of interest such as the Skywalk and the suspension bridge, which offer spectacular emotions and breathtaking views of the Rotaliana Königsberg and the surrounding mountains.</p>
