It is a pleasant and easy path that, running alongside the buried conduit of the Dambel consortial irrigation aqueduct (built in 1804), leads from the village of Dambel to that of Fondo. The walk is really stunning, characterized by crossing some charming little bridges and alternating trails through woods, green meadows, as well as breathtaking panoramic views over the entire valley framed by the Maddalene and Brenta mountain groups. Along the route, if someone wants to stop for a short break or a quick snack, in some particularly panoramic spots there are seats made from larch trunks.

    Roadbook

The path is accessible from the Provincial Road that leads from the village of Dambel towards Sarnonico, at the hairpin bend just above the Dambel helicopter landing area. It is thus possible to reach, avoiding the main road, the villages of Seio, Sarnonico, Vasio, Brez, Fondo and some of the most well-known local attractions such as the Canyon of Rio Sass, the golf courses, and the cycle path. The return can be made retracing the path or via the Alta Val di Non cycle path, reaching the village of Seio and taking the old forest road to Dambel. The entire route, suitable for both walking and mountain biking, is adequately signposted with clearly visible signs.
