Safety information
Safety Tips
- Choose routes based on your physical and technical abilities, gather information about the area to be visited, the usability of the trails and equip yourself with an adequate hiking map.
 - Wear clothing and equipment suitable for the effort and length of the hike and carry what is necessary for emergency situations and a first aid kit in your backpack.
 - It is advisable not to undertake a mountain hike alone. In any case, tell someone the itinerary you plan to take, informing them of your return.
 - Check weather forecasts and constantly observe weather changes.
 - If in doubt, turn back. Sometimes it is better to give up than to find yourself in difficulty because of bad weather or tackling difficulties beyond your strength, skills, or equipment.
 - Avoid unnecessarily leaving the path and taking shortcuts.
 - All listed routes take place in a natural environment. Doing them means accepting the risk of practicing a sport in nature.

The information contained in this sheet is subject to inevitable changes, so no indication has absolute value. It is impossible to completely avoid inaccuracies or errors, considering the rapidity of environmental or weather changes that may occur. In this regard, we disclaim any responsibility for changes suffered by the user. It is recommended, however, to make sure before making a hike about the state of the places and environmental or weather conditions.

Directions
From Stenico by car, take the provincial road towards Ragoli. Continuing towards Ragoli you reach the Lisàn bridge, near which is the fork for Val d’Algone. After about 7 kilometers of paved road you arrive at the Ghedina hut (1120 m). Continuing through meadows and huts you reach Albergo Brenta, where the road turns into dirt: from this point on access to the valley is limited and allowed until the available spaces are full, with the payment of a toll of € 6.00.
From Albergo Brenta our road continues climbing halfway up, passing the edge of the Vallon meadow basin and then through Malga Nambi (open during summer and a refreshment point) and Malga Stablei. With some hairpin bends you reach the southern edge of the Movlina pasture where the parking lot is located.
NOTE: in Val Algone the GPS signal does not work properly, we invite you to continue along the main marked road.

Equipment
Mountain hikes require specific clothing and equipment. Even for relatively short and easy outings, it is always better to be well equipped to avoid unpleasant surprises and to face unforeseen events such as a sudden storm or a drop in energy.
What to bring for a mountain trek?
In the backpack (for a day hike, a 25/30L one is usually recommended) it is good to bring:
- water bottle (1L)
 - snacks (for example, dried fruit or chocolate)
 - first aid kit
 - windbreaker jacket
 - a fleece sweater
 - spare T-shirt and socks (preferably sealed in a plastic bag)
 - worn or at least carried in the backpack a pair of long pants
 - hat
 - sunscreen
 - sunglasses
 - gloves
 - whistle to be found in case of emergency

Wear footwear suitable for the route and season. The walking surface of the trails can be uneven or rough, and a pair of boots will protect you from sprains. A grassy slope, a rock slab or a steep path, if wet, can become dangerous without appropriate footwear.
Finally... do not forget the camera! It will be useful to capture the hike and the countless breathtaking views that Garda Trentino hides around every corner. If you want to share your memories with us you can use the hashtag #GardaTrentino
