The cycle route follows the course of the Sarca river, starting just above Lake Ponte Pià, near the village of Ragoli, up to Pinzolo: a true immersion in nature.

Every view tells a story of mountains and great achievements. The scents are those of wood, forests, and water. The route is a ribbon designed and fused into a picturesque alpine setting, in the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park, which for the most part follows the same course as the Sarca river.

    Safety information

Please note that the passability of the routes in mountainous environments is strictly linked to current conditions and is therefore influenced by natural phenomena, environmental changes, and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained on this page may have changed. Before starting a route, make sure that the path you intend to take is still accessible by contacting the refuge manager, the alpine guides, or the visitor centers of natural parks, as well as the information offices of local tourist organizations.

    Roadbook

The route starts near Ragoli and, after about 4 km, reaches the Tione district.

The large parking lot at the “Sesena” sports facility is the ideal starting point for the trails of the Giudicarie. Indeed, it is located at the junction of the three main valleys (Inner Giudicarie, Outer Giudicarie, Val Rendena).

There are no challenging climbs, the terrain is gently rolling and peaceful, making it ideal for families with children and for those who love to cycle in nature without much effort. The trail runs through the meadows of the villages of Iavré, Daré, Vigo, and Pelugo.

By bicycle, you follow the course of the Sarca river, reaching after about 21 kilometers along cycle/pedestrian paths, near Pinzolo, where the route ends. There are long stretches where the route follows the Sarca river, crossing numerous parks with picnic areas, including the one in Vigo Rendena, where a “Bicigrill” has been set up.
