<p>This route allows us to visit the historic center of Castello Tesino, part of the Treasure Hunt routes of Valsugana. <br/>At the offices of APT Valsugana, you can request the illustrative flyer, which allows us through a series of games to discover one by one the wonders of the town. </p>
<p>Inhabited since ancient times and crossed by one of the most important Roman roads, the Via Claudia Augusta Altinate, Castello Tesino is the most populous center of the plateau.</p> <p>Thanks to the landscape, folklore, good hotel and extra-hotel facilities, the renowned ski resorts, and the peaceful pace of life, it is a appreciated tourist center. </p> <p>Things to do: the town has the largest forest areas in Trentino and is the ideal starting point for walks and hikes, with many routes, in particular the educational path “A thousand faces of the forest” at Passo Brocon, where it is possible to discover every facet of mountain life. A must-see is the visit to the Castello Tesino Caves: karst cavities characterized by galleries, arabesques, stalactites and stalagmites, unique to visit in all Trentino. A destination for astronomy enthusiasts is the Celado Astronomical Observatory which offers the opportunity to see stars and planets, experiencing a unique experience.</p>
