1° Mangio – 30th Edition

The food & wine walking tour of the Valle dei Laghi

An experience combining nature, tradition and conviviality: this event offers a scenic hiking route of حوالي 10–11 km through the stunning landscapes of the Valle dei Laghi, among vineyards, historic villages and castles. The initiative blends the pleasure of walking outdoors with the discovery of authentic Trentino rural cuisine.

The route
The event is organised in stages, each offering a different culinary specialty paired with local wines.

• Meeting point: Vigo Cavedine
• Transfer – new this year! The route has been reversed and includes an initial shuttle transfer.
  Around 200 participants can start every 30 minutes: choose your preferred starting time and arrive 45 minutes early for check-in.

Along the route, refreshment points are managed by local Pro Loco associations.

Typical menu:

• Breakfast – Vigo Cavedine: barley coffee and biscuits
• Welcome – Calavino: crostini with lard pâté and “salsa dell’orso” (vegetarian option available)
• Starter – Lasino: focaccia with local cold cuts and cheeses
• First course – Stravino: strangolapreti with oil/butter and cheese
• Main course – Cavedine: carne salada with beans and cabbage
• Dessert – Brusino: Treccia Mochena
• Final stop – Vigo Cavedine: coffee and tastings of artisanal grappa

Atmosphere & entertainment
The event is not just about food, but a true community celebration: at the main stops there will be live music featuring Bel e Poc (Lasino), Enzo (Stravino), Mauro Trentini (Cavedine), I Vagabondi (Brusino) and Fearless (Vigo Cavedine), while in Calavino there will be a demonstration of local craftsmanship (mill and lathe).
The celebration will then continue in Vigo Cavedine with another music event (Afrovalley) and a food area.

Notes

• Dogs are not allowed on the shuttle buses. Those wishing to participate with their dog can start from Calavino, arranging check-in in Vigo Cavedine (where the car should be parked, as the route ends there).
• Gluten-free options are not available.
