Homemade jams
Jam is a classic Christmas gift. If you missed the “Trentino in un Barattolo” (Trentino in a jar) event at our agritourisms, fear not – the very same jams and preserves are still available for purchase. And, naturally, they are made with choice local ingredients from figs to rose petals; there’s even a strudel flavour! Take home a delicious helping of Trentino mountain sweetness.
Pasta from Val di Fiemme
Your basket of treats would hardly be complete without pasta. Award-winning Felicetti single-grain pasta makes a beautifully presented gift. It is made with pure spring water from the Val di Fiemme for a unique flavour that is a joy to discover.
Delicious coffee
Coffee isn’t a crop that grows in Trentino, of course, but the bean roaster’s art is taking root here. There are already 5 companies making high-quality, interesting products, from Caffè Adler based in Lavis to Casa del Caffè in the heart of Trento and Omkafé in Riva del Garda. Bontadi from Rovereto, founded back in 1790, is the oldest of them all.
Artisanal Panettone
And we haven’t even mentioned traditional Christmas cakes yet! Panettone – strictly artisanal – is a growing trend on Trentino festive tables. Panificio Moderno is famed for its soft, fragrant panettoni with chocolate drops or coffee.
Exquisita in Rovereto stands out for its flavourful panettoni made with San Martim raisin wine. And a variety with Dro plums and extra virgin Garda olive oil is a firm favourite from Agraria cooperative shop in Riva.
