Divine wines of autumn

AUTUMN 2021 - Once a year, between September and October, come unmissable occasions to be seized with both hands. This is the moment when the grapes have ripened and preparations begin to transform them into wine. At this precise moment in time, nature has worked its magic to the full, leaving the growers satisfied with their heavy, swollen grapes. Now, it is a race against time for skilled wine-makers to complete the grape harvest.

Wherever grapes are found throughout Trentino — whose indigenous vine varieties grow throughout the entire region between the altitudes of 200 and 1,000 metres — locals throw parties in the villages and on the streets. According to a tradition whose roots have been lost in the mists of time, once the work in the fields and in the wineries is complete, local communities come together to celebrate the end of the grape harvest and the freshly produced wine, giving their thanks to nature in the hope of abundant crops of this nectar in the future.
