Top Wine Symposium 2950
Toast to good wine and the Dolomites on the terrace of the Maria Refuge, with Italy's highest wine and food event that officially closes the beautiful season in Val di Fassa
Elegant whites, bold reds, fragrant rosés and sparkling wines that tell the story of vineyards, skilled hands and the rhythm of the seasons. On 18 October, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., taste reaches its peak at Top Wine 2950, the exclusive food and wine symposium held at the Maria del Sass Pordoi Rifugio, renowned for its panoramic terrace perched at nearly 3000 metres, offering a breathtaking 360° view over the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Around twenty hand-picked wineries from Trentino and South Tyrol - joined by a special guest from outside the region - will gather up there, where crisp air and deep blue sky meet the peaks, and wine becomes one with beauty. The tasting experience is paired with a gourmet culinary offering: the Top Wine dish created by chef Giovanni Gabrielli, along with a refined selection of finger food crafted by Gaetano Bonanno, Matthias Trottner and Stefano Ghetta - faces that bring Ladin cuisine to life with soul and precision. A high-altitude sensory journey, made possible by meaningful collaborations that unite talent, heritage and vision.
The Top Wine 2950 symposium is organised by the Società Incremento Turistico Canazei, with the collaboration of the Sommelier Association of Fassa and Fiemme and Cedea Mineral Water. Maria Rifugio can be reached in just four minutes by cable car from Pordoi Pass (13 km from Canazei); from the mountain station of the cable car there is a direct access to the panoramic terrace.
Participation in Top Wine 2950 includes cable car round-trip ticket, tasting, screen-printed glass, personalised gadget, snacks and voucher for the Top Wine Dish. € 80 per person.
