The chestnuts of Castione are the undisputed protagonists
The feast of the Chestnut of Castione is a greedy occasion to sample chestnuts, typical product of Trentino, cakes, beer and liquors made with chestnuts.
Cesare Battisti Park is perfect the location for the feast with its autumnal colours and it is ideal for families: wide green spaces, benches and a very nice playground.
At the big tent in both the days, at lunch and at dinner, the volunteers will prepare typical dishes of Trentino, some of them will be revisited using the queen of the weekend: the chestnut.
What about a nice stroll through the discovery of the chestnut groves of Castione?
The path is about 4 km long and it will let you know more about the secrets of the plantation of the precious autumnal fruits, admire the centuries-old plants and the intense colours of the wood.
