The 74th Trento Bondone will be held over the weekend from 6 to 8 June 2025 on Monte Bondone.
2025 will not be a year like any other for the Scuderia Trentina and especially for the "Trento Bondone", given that the most important European uphill car competition will reach the century of life. The count of the editions will reach 74, but from the first one a hundred years have already passed, during which the race has observed some forced pauses, first between 1929 and 1938, then from 1940 to 1950 due to the Second World War, then again from 1982 to 1988, in 1991 and 1992, and finally in 2020 due to Covid 19.
To properly celebrate this anniversary, important for Trentino not only in its sporting variety, a calendar of ad hoc events will be built, which will fill an entire week, from 2 to 8 June, the day on which the race will be held, which will be valid for the European Championship for Modern (EHC) and Historic (HHC) cars, for the Supersalita and for the Civm Nord. A series of initiatives that will allow us to relive a hundred years of history of our province through the lens of the engines.
In the European Championship, the "Trento Bondone" will be the sixth event of the season, after the St. Jean du Gard – Col Sant Pierre, Rechberg, the Rampa de Falperra, the Subida al Fito and Ecce Homo Sternberk, followed by four other races, Limanowa, St. Ursanne – Les Rangiers, Ilirska Bistrica and Buzetski. In the calendar of the Supersalita Championship, which thisyear includes seven races, it will be preceded by Monte Erice and the Vallecamonica Trophy, while in the Civm Nord there will be the Cost Rise, the Consumption Cup and the Levico Vetriolo Panarotta.
The 74th "Trento Bondone" will therefore be full of riders, motivated more than ever to take part in the centenary edition, perhaps offering the possibility to Simone Faggioli and Luigi Fazzino to give life to another duel at high altitude, like last year's, won by surprise by the young Sicilian driver, who interrupted the streak of four consecutive successes of the Tuscan champion.
