Hiking with alpacas
Easy guided hike on Buffaure's pastures in the company of llamas, gentle Andean animals that will charm both adults and children alike
A slow-paced trek, guided by the calm and steady gait of alpacas, perfect companions for a walk through the Buffaure pastures. The excursion allows you to come into direct contact with these docile and fascinating animals: participants will take turns accompanying Picasso, Manolo and their other four-legged friends with a halter and lead rope, getting to know them step by step. The group will be accompanied by a mountain guide, who will enrich the experience with stories and interesting facts about this enchanting and peaceful corner of Val di Fassa.
Activity for adults and children from 5 years old. Difficulty: easy, no strollers. Comfortable clothing and sports shoes are recommended.
Schedule and meeting point: every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 a.m., 11.30 a.m., 2 p.m. by the mountain station of Buffaure gondola in Pozza. Duration: about 1.30 hours.
Price: 15 € per person. Ticket for the lifts and any packed lunch or lunch at the mountain hut to be paid for by participants. Panorama Pass and Dolomiti Supersummer are valid for the gondola. Compulsory online registration by 6 p.m. on the previous day. Activity cancelled in case of bad weather with refund of the fee paid.
