Water
The RAM film festival, an event that tells stories of archeology and cultural heritage through cinema, is back in Rovereto.
The Fondazione Museo Civico has been organising a Film Festival since 1990, from 2021 called RAM – Rovereto Archaeology Memories.
The focus of 2025 will be Water in all its forms. Water and human communities, the courses and bodies of water on whose banks civilisations have flourished. Water as a battlefield. Water as an increasingly precious resource, to be harnessed, guarded and defended, whose scarcity drives peoples to migration or confrontation. And on the other hand, water that destroys and which, with the climate emergency, puts humanity’s heritage and treasures at risk. Or again, the water under which, with the most modern technologies, underwater archaeology rediscovers evidence of our history.
The RAM film festival is organised by the “Fondazione Museo Civico di Rovereto“, with the support of the Comune di Rovereto, Provincia Autonoma di Trento, Fondazione Caritro, Cassa Rurale AltoGarda – Rovereto, in collaboration with the Azienda per il Turismo Rovereto, Vallagarina e Monte Baldo.
