Jam session in memory of Beppe Pilotto
A special jam session to remember double bass player Beppe Pilotto: an evening of music, friendship and sharing with many musicians who played with him, in the spirit of jazz and the Dolomiti Ski Jazz Festival
Beppe Pilotto, double bass player from Bassano del Grappa, was also very active in our region and a dear friend of Grenz and the Dolomiti Ski Jazz Festival, with whom he collaborated for a long time with great enthusiasm and passion. We want to remember him together through music, which brought us together and gave us unforgettable moments. An open and participatory jam session, in the spirit of sharing, improvisation and friendship. Many musicians who had the pleasure of playing with him will be present. In addition to his partner Francesca Bertazzo and his closest friends, Helga Plankensteiner, Fiorenzo Zeni, Michi Loesch, Roberto Gorgazzini, Giuliano Cramerotti, Marco Stagni and other musicians who will join in during the evening have announced their attendance.
The culture and music association "La Grenz", a long-standing partner of the Dolomiti Ski Jazz and Val di Fassa Panorama Music festivals, is opening the doors of its club for a series of unmissable concerts. In the informal and friendly atmosphere that has always characterised this iconic venue in Moena, musicians and audiences will come together to enjoy evenings of good music, immersed in the tradition that has seen some of the greatest artists on the international jazz scene perform on stage.
