From September 5, 2022 to May 9, 2030, the exhibition dedicated to the history of Trentino's autonomy will be on display in Trento at Palazzo della Provincia.
La Provincia si racconta is an open and continuously updated project that tries to tell the story and the present of the Autonomous Province of Trento: its identity, its transformations, its functioning.
A permanent itinerary that, with its workstations and installations, offers a variety of contents and languages, providing visitors with the opportunity to travel through 50 years of history of autonomy through the development of skills acquired with the Second Statute of 1972.
At the opening, the exhibition offers a chronological reconstruction of the various passages that have characterized this half-century of history, as well as a series of graphs useful for understanding the growth of the provincial system.
A central element of the exhibition and the "story" are the testimonies of the women and men who work and have worked in the Province, or in the various bodies and sectors that make up the system. By constituting a mosaic of personal stories that intertwine the more general history of the institution, it will be possible to grasp the sense of belonging, the spirit of service and the transformations that have affected it.
Organized as an Instagram profile, patstories, it will also be visible from the same social network.
The exhibition also contains an in-depth examination of an extremely representative room of Trentino's self-government: Sala Depero, the flagship of the artistic heritage of the Province's legislative body, commissioned in the 1950s by then-President Remo Albertini to fellow Roveretan Fortunato Depero, a famous futurist artist.
