38 - Lake Circuit from Nosellari
The beautiful lake of Lavarone is easily reachable from Nosellari by climbing the 19th-century little road that connects the village to the farmhouse of Pra' di sopra. This is the ancient connecting route once used by the local inhabitants to lead the cows to pasture on the meadows surrounding the body of water.
The excursion combines the pleasure of a not particularly demanding walk with the pleasure of reaching the lake of Lavarone, one of the most evocative places of the Alpe Cimbra, chosen at the beginning of the twentieth century by Sigmund Freud, father of psychoanalysis, for some of his holiday periods in what was then the Italian Tyrol.
