Walk - Forte delle Benne
Easy route that follows a series of well-maintained farm roads around Colle delle Benne, where the Austrian fort that gave it its name was built.

Located on top of the homonymous hill overlooking Lake Levico, it is about 2 km from the center of Levico Terme. Also called Forte di San Biagio, it was built by the Austro-Hungarians between 1880 and 1882.

It is part of the first phase Vogl-style forts (late 1880s), characterized by a broken layout on two or three blocks or horseshoe-shaped wings, with the addition of a stone section for close defense, armored and not, partial earth cover, and an open courtyard.

A line of trenches, served by a mule track, ascended the rugged mountain ridge up to Busa Granda (1,500 m). Twin work of Forte di Tenna, located on the hill overlooking the lake from the south side, it served as an observation post and depot due to its position behind the front line. The iron structures were dismantled in the early 1930s, removed from Military Property in 1931, and sold for 3,000 Lire to the Municipality of Levico on 13.10.1933.
