Arco Asburgica - Gran Galà dell' Arciduca
Historical Re-enactment
An evocative evening of dancing, with a parade opened by the drums of San Abbondio (Dro) that winds its way through the streets of the centre, ending in the piazza, followed by the presentation of the dancing couples.
Choreographies that were actually danced at the time (late 19th century) will be performed and for some of these the active participation of the public will be requested.
The characters interpreted by the Comitato Tradizioni Usi e Costumi Arcensi as the Habsburg Court, with the exception of the Empress and Emperor, are real figures from Arco from the period between the 19th and 20th centuries.
