In Campitello, from 10 p.m. to 2.30 a.m., DJ Francesco Fontes sets the pace. Free entry, an electric atmosphere and a selection of disco music guaranteed to get everyone - absolutely everyone - dancing. A long-standing New Year's Eve favourite in Val di Fassa, Fontes brings that unmistakable energy that turns the square into a huge dance floor under the stars. And the first day of the year? It starts slow and soft, like the intro to a new melody. A Ladin breakfast: a fluffy krapfen, filled with jam or cream, a hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and a touch of cinnamon.
