The Alpine Botanical Garden of Passo Coe is located in a vast area of three hectares at the foot of Mount Maggio at an altitude of 1600 m, an extraordinary place that invites you to discover the rich heritage of spontaneous plants. Here, plants thrive in various environments, such as rocks, meadows, coniferous forests and wetlands, all in their natural habitat or in recreated flowerbeds. The bright blooms, which follow one another from late spring until autumn, create a fascinating contrast with the green of the meadows and woods, attracting the attention of visitors. But the garden is not only a botanical paradise: it also features interesting geological phenomena such as sinkholes, rutted fields and outcrops of limestone rocks. In addition, medicinal, edible and poisonous plants are collected in special flowerbeds, telling stories and traditions of the mountains.
This beautiful garden also offers photographic exhibitions and a variety of exciting experiences including activities and workshops for children and guided tours that involve everyone.
