Cavalese Giallo & Noir
Literary review directed by Paolo Roversi. Meeting with Paolo Roversi, Cristina Aicardi, Ferdinando Pastori: presentation of the books "The Kaminski Enigma: A Case in the Old Fashion for Commissioner Botero", ed. Mondadori, and "Giallo Italia", ed. SEM
The plot: Milan, still euphoric from the success of the Expo, prepares to shine under the Christmas lights. However, on December 8th, a dark shadow falls over the city: Giovanni Ferri, a well-known and esteemed antiquarian from Brera, is found dead in the Duomo after the Immaculate Conception Mass. An infarct, at first glance. Luca Botero, the commissioner intolerant of technology and equipped with the observational spirit of the best Sherlock Holmes, is instead certain that he has been murdered. When the autopsy confirms his suspicions, the investigation heats up, as many could have wanted him dead. However, the investigator's attention is drawn elsewhere because, in the same hours, his most terrible nightmare re-emerges from the past: Jacek Kaminski. The ruthless criminal who had almost killed him years earlier now challenges him openly. Botero will be forced to stake his own life and confront ancient ghosts, accepting the risk that his opponent's puzzles may simply be yet another trap to ensnare him.
