These markets aim to enhance the recovery of items otherwise destined for disposal and to create a proper awareness among citizens on the topics covered by the so-called European Directive on the 5 Rs (reuse, recovery, recycling, reutilization, and reduction).
They will be sustainable and attractive reuse markets in terms of the quality and variety of items displayed, always of modest value, highlighting those related to uses, customs, and traditions, handcrafted items, books, prints, postcards, old maps, household items, unique objects, curious antiques, and various others.
