Night of the documentary screening Fragile Alps focused on the climate crisis in the mountains, blending cinema and science to tell, with experts and directors, about the changes in the Alps in the face of the climate emergency.

The Climate Crisis and Fragile Environment review presents a series of documentaries on the theme of the climate crisis and the alpine environment in the areas of interest of the Euregio project. The Alps are experiencing a profound climate crisis: since 1880, the average temperature has increased by about 1.8 °C, nearly double the global average. This is transforming the flora and landscape of vast areas, also due to human impact.
To raise public awareness and tell the story of these changes, eight films are being presented, including one produced by the Civic Museum Foundation of Rovereto titled "Piante al limite," included in a schedule of six different evenings, at venues in Rovereto, Cavalese, Dimaro, and Bolzano, from spring to autumn 2025. Each evening will be accompanied by an expert and/or a director to stimulate dialogue between science, cinema, and the community.
