The “Campiello” is a literary prize established in 1962 by the Industrialists of Veneto. It is awarded to works of Italian fiction.For the second time, the Campiello Prize will arrive in Trentino, in Folgaria, on July 26th in Piazza Marconi. Throughout its history, the Campiello Prize has proven the value of its cultural choices by bringing numerous authors and novels—many of which have made their mark on the history of Italian literature—to the attention of a wide audience. Today, the prize is considered one of the most prestigious in Italy and one of the most important in the Italian publishing world. The five finalists of the 63rd edition of the Campiello Prize, a contemporary Italian literature competition promoted by the Il Campiello Foundation – Confindustria Veneto, have been selected at Palazzo del Bo in Padua.

Today, the prize is considered one of the most prestigious in Italy and a key event in the Italian publishing world. Through it, the Industrialists of Veneto aim to promote Italian fiction and foster a love of reading, with the belief that the ultimate purpose of a literary prize is to “create new readers.”
