Tasting the Oltresommo: a food and wine walk of 11 km completely immersed in unspoiled nature, through the villages of San Sebastiano, Tezzeli, Cueli, Carbonare and Nosellari, of easy level suitable for everyone and families with children. A 11 km food and wine walk along the Water Path, between ancient mills and sawmills, through the villages of San Sebastiano, Tezzeli, Cueli-Liberi, Carbonare, Prà di Sopra and Nosellari, immersed in nature, of easy level suitable for everyone and families with children. It is a journey into the past where the protagonists are not actors but the inhabitants of these villages, who open the doors of their homes and their faces, display objects that belonged to their ancestors, and tell, as those who love their land know how to do, anecdotes and stories of real life.
Along the route, there will be "Pleasure Points" where participants can taste local typical products made exclusively in Alpe Cimbra!
Visits will also be provided to the ancient "Mein" Sawmill, the "Cuel" Mill (which will activate its century-old wheel kissed by the "Vespoch") and along the hiking trail of the Trenches of Nosellari.
Along the route, numerous informative panels will be placed where the history of these places is told.
The culture of these ancient farms will be accompanied by the backdrop of the Astico river. Colors and flavors will blend into a unique experience rich in pleasure. Musicians, lace-makers, and many characters who live the alpine life will be encountered.
A unique event in its kind, rich in history, nature, and culinary delights, all to be discovered: in the 2026 edition, 1000 participants are expected who can start from San Sebastiano and decide at what speed to travel the entire route.
